Happy Birthday to ONE Arts!
Join us for a celebration!
We are so delighted to have had four fantastic years of creative community with you in the Old North End! Please join us for an all ages birthday party to celebrate our time together creating this little neighborhood art center!
We’ll get out the fort building supplies, set up the toddler ball pit, have an arts and crafts table, and enjoy a party with potluck dinner followed by birthday cake!! The party is free, but donations for purchasing supplies are always welcome!
Friday, October 12, 5-7:30 at the Art Center
We still have a few spots left for camp on the 27th and 28th, so sign up soon HERE!
The beautiful nests above were made with our teacher Sarah Adelaide on a day of camp in June this summer. She returns for our August 27th and 28th camp days! Sarah is a Vermont born and raised artist. She studied fine art and painting at RISD. Currently Sarah’s work combines her love and knowledge of the natural world with her passion for creation. She loves teaching art with organic materials, and has had much success teaching Arts and WildCrafts with children. Sarah is an active painter who makes her own pigments and also teaches in the community.
You can also sign up now for After School Art! Learn more and sign up HERE!

15th, Monday: Day of Service
On Martin Luther King, Jr. day campers will learn a bit about MLK and other Social Justice Leaders and turn that knowledge into art in the form of a sculpture and collage. Additionally, as it is a day of service, campers will make friendship cards for the seniors from the Senior Center. Mellisa is a social justice teacher and trainer in addition to being an artist, so brings a wealth of knowledge to the day!
16th, Tuesday: Snow Day
Everyone loves a snow day! We’ll go outside and build snowpeople, and even paint them! Inside, campers will make a blizzard in a jar, create unique snow flake art and custom shirts. Please send your child in with a blank t-shirt of any color.
17th, Wednesday: SpongeBob Square Pants Day
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? The ONE Art Center! Firstly, campers design their own Spongebob characters masks, then create their own ocean in a shoebox, Spongebob inspired slime and more!
