Our First Paper Making Workshop!

Join us for our first paper making workshop in our new location in the South End!

Sunday Feb 10th 1-4pm
Taught by Eden Stern
At Flynndog Station
208 Flynn Ave, Suite 2A, next to the fitness studio and bathrooms, across from Flynndog exhibits.

In this special Valentine’s class participants will make colorful sheets of paper from cotton fibers formed on a molds and deckels. Also, participants will make paper hearts embedded with seeds and wildflowers. When planted correctly, these valentines will bloom into beautiful wildflowers. Bring a friend for discounted tickets.

Eden Stern – Pulp Painter
After receiving her undergraduate of Art from Grinnell College, in Iowa, Eden went on to receive her first Master’s of Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She then went on to add a second Master’s of Fine Art from Columbia College. Eden has also attended Pratt Institute, New York School of Visual Arts, and NY Studio School. Eden Specializes in paper making, but her art includes several mediums and art modalities.

We have a new, additional location in the South End! We’re calling it Flynndog Station and it’s a co-working space plus a paper making studio! Spaces are available in our co-working space for $250-$425 a month. Please let us know if you’d like to check it out. We also curate the hallway exhibition space of this beautiful old building and it is available for event rentals and pop up exhibitions. Email us to plan an event!

Hey all! Schools let out at 11:30 on Monday, so sign up your kids for some creative fun at the art center! We pick up kids from SA and IAA and walk them to the art center. Children from other schools are welcome too, they just need to be dropped off at the center at 11:40.

Then the following day we will be having a camp for IAA students who will have the day off while the staff has a fun retreat day! Go IAA!

It’s time to sign up for After School Art!

We are now offering Wednesdays as well as our usual Mondays and Thursdays!

Give your child a stimulating boost of creativity every week after school! We’ll create a variety of projects and crafts that explore art concepts and develop creative skills and techniques. Snacks will be provided. We’ll pick up the children after school and safely walk them from SA and IAA to the art center. Children from other schools are welcome, but must be dropped off at the Center at 3pm (2pm on Wednesdays). Please inform us of food allergies and other important info. Get 10% off when you buy a whole semester! If buying a month of classes, select the first class of that month from the pull down menu.

Mondays and Thursdays: 2:50-5:00pm $22.50 per 2.5 hr class
Wednesdays: 1:50-5:00 $25 per 3.5 hr class

About Gaby: Gaby graduated in 2015 from Skidmore College with a degree in Art History and Anthropology, since then she has been teaching art and english around the globe and is now proud to call Burlington her home. With over five years of experience exploring child development and arts she is excited to begin teaching art classes at ONE Arts for students of all levels. Her specialties include collage, drawing, painting, knitting, sculpture, design, sewing, textiles and really anything she can get her hands on to create.
