Paper Pulp Relief Sculpture

In this class, participants will make a relief sculpture out of foam board and use handmade sheets of paper to apply to the sculpted form to make a unique work of art. Bring rulers, stencils and ideas. Also bring exacto knife and/or utility knife and any interesting sculptural shapes for creating cast paper forms that could be included in your sculpture. Bring a friend for discounted tickets. Bring lunch or buy from nearby City Market or Nomad Coffee.
Eden Stern – Pulp Painter
After receiving her undergraduate of Art from Grinnell College, in Iowa, Eden went on to receive her first Master’s of Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She then went on to add a second Master’s of Fine Art from Columbia College. Eden has also attended Pratt Institute, New York School of Visual Arts, and NY Studio School. Eden Specializes in paper making, but her art includes several mediums and art modalities.
