Thank you for being part of the April Fair Housing Month exhibits and workshops! Did you know that your art can also be entered in the HeART & Home art contest? Original artwork should express what a diverse, inclusive community looks like to you and may be in any 2D format: painting, drawing, collage, fiber art, photography, comic art, sculpture, etc. The art must be photographed or scanned and submitted electronically using this ONLINE ENTRY FORM: https://forms.gle/REb99qXUti9oFsHo9.
There are $75 and $50 cash prizes for the first- and second-place winners in each division (child, teen, and adult)! The winning art will also be featured in a statewide Fair Housing public service campaign.
The contest is sponsored by the Fair Housing Project of the Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, with the support of students in the UVM Community Development & Applied Economics Public Communication Capstone class.
We will accept submissions from Fair Housing Month artists until April 28, 2019. If you have any questions or need help submitting your artwork, please contact Jess Hyman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 802-660-3456 x 110.
