This Monday, October 12th, is Indigenous Peoples Day and there’s no school on this day so we are offering a camp. We will learn about the original inhabitants of Vermont, the Abenaki. We’ll explore Abenaki culture through books, art, stories and making our own art. Special guest teacher Judy Dow will join us in the afternoon to share about Abenaki culture and teach us how to play a traditional game with corn husks.
