For the past 5 years, ONE Arts together with the Fair Housing Project of CVOEO has been putting together art shows, workshops, and creative projects around the theme of fair housing and community each April under the name of HeART and Home. This year, because of COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, we’ll be doing things a bit differently.
HeART and Home has art supplies and a project for you! Our April Fair Housing Month workshops are cancelled but you can still participate and make art! Make a painting about what home and inclusive communities mean to you, take a picture of it, and share it on the our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/HeARTandHomeVT with the tag #FairHousingMonthVT.
We will provide you with a free canvas board to paint on and a small set of acrylic paint. All ages are welcome. Fill out this form to request your materials: https://forms.gle/CsE9cbxEyFK3RjyT6 or pick up your supply kit at the ONE Arts Center, 72 N. Champlain St. in Burlington on Sunday, March 22, between 2-4 pm. Sunday we will have someone drop them off, or you can stop in to pick them up!
