Start with Art is our after school program offered on Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri. On these days, a ONE Arts teacher will pick up your child from school (SA or IAA) and walk them to the ONE Arts Center. Upon arrival, we will take temps, wash/sanitize hands, and then enjoy a snack that we provide. We offer a choice of Ritz crackers and organic peanut butter, organic apples, organic apple sauce, organic seaweed, organic raisins, fruit & nut granola bars, and Honest organic juice boxes. If your child has a food allergy, we will accommodate. Then we make art together and parents pick up between 5 and 5:15. Classes are $25 each. Our teachers are Loren Frank and Sarah Brunkhorst.
Loren has 5 years experience working with kids ages 5-15, primarily in art camps and art classes, using all kinds of media. She loves working with kids and engaging their creativity.
Sarah is a multimedia artist, who has been enjoying making art with kids at Vermont Youth AmeriCorps and at our camps recently as well.
We currently offer pick up after school from IAA on Tuesdays and Thursdays and pick up from SA on Mondays and Fridays. Children from any schools on any days are also welcome to sign up and be dropped off at 3pm.
